Cookie information
Last updated: October 9, 2026.
1. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Local storage and session storage are other ways of retaining information on your device. Browser caching of website files is separate from these technologies.
2. Use on this website
Navigation, menus and FAQ interactions do not require browser storage. Optional website analytics uses an anonymous session ID in session storage after permission. Your analytics preference is saved in local storage for 180 days. RecyKarol uses local storage for the results described below.
If you allow analytics, PostHog (EU) receives page paths, referring domains, a mobile or desktop viewport category, navigation destinations and reading progress. Full query strings, form values, names and email addresses are excluded. There are no session recordings. Use Cookie settings in the footer to reject or allow analytics at any time. Website and recruiting consent choices are separate. Rejecting stops further collection and deletes the website session ID.
RecyKarol game results
After completing all three levels of RecyKarol on the Information Technology page, you can enter a name or nickname and choose Save. The game stores up to three results, keeping the fastest times, in this browser's local storage. Each result contains the entered name, total playing time and number of stars. These results are used only for the local leaderboard in the same browser on the same device. The game does not send these results to us or to third parties.
The stored results can be read again when you revisit the game. They have no automatic expiry and remain until you delete this website's site data in your browser, the browser removes them, or faster results replace them in the leaderboard. Reset and Replay do not delete the stored leaderboard. If browser storage is unavailable, you can still play; results can only be shown during the current visit.
3. Hosting and fonts
The website is hosted on Vercel. Requests for pages and files transfer your IP address and technical request information to the hosting provider. This processing is separate from browser storage. Further information is available in the Vercel Privacy Notice and our privacy notice.
Roboto and Roboto Mono are served as local font files from this website's own host. Loading these fonts does not connect your browser to Google. Your browser may cache the font files like other website assets.
4. External links
We link to social networks, Luma, PayPal, our recruiting website and project websites. These destinations are ordinary links, not embedded content. When you follow a link, the destination's privacy and cookie information applies to your visit there.
5. Browser controls
You can use your browser settings to manage cookies, site data and cached files. Consult your browser's help for the available options. The navigation and content of this website do not depend on you accepting cookies.
6. Your rights with respect to personal data
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data, subject to the applicable statutory conditions:
- The right to information about the purpose, recipients and duration of processing.
- The right of access to your personal data.
- The right to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing.
